In April 2008, according to the Hong Kong government estimated that the 26-kilometer high-speed rail section of Hong Kong would cost 39.5 billion Hong Kong dollars and soared to 66.9 billion by October 2009. The government explained that the prices of building materials around the world are increasing. In addition, the construction of tunnels for high speed railways needs to be completed. If inflation is calculated, it is not the most expensive railway in the world. The problem is that every one of the people in Hong Kong will have to pay $ 10,000. According to Japan times, Japan's high-speed rail in addition to Tokyo to Osaka's Tokaido Shinkansen profits, the rest of the loss of 300 billion US dollars, the last government to pay the bill. What will you think about Hong Kong High speed railway? They are making for middle class people and upper-class people. The Hong Kong government did not think about the bottom of who live in Hong Kong. They are joining to pay for the railway, but are they really want to get onto the train and travel. They are not even able to afford the ticket. That’s the major problem with the project.
