This coming weekend on November 3, President Trump will begin his tour of Asia which will start with a stop in Japan and then continue on to South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines. During his visits to Japan and South Korea Trump will be meeting with both Prime minister Abe and President Moon-Jae. As part of the presidents Tour of Asia one of the main goals is to shore up support against North Korea and ensure Allies in the region that the U.S has a coherent plan for the North Korean Nuclear Crisis. In the past the Trump Administration has failed to do so, with Trump often speaking in opposition to the views of some of his top officials including Secretary Tillerson and Secretary Mattis. He also publicly clashed with President Moon-Jae when he in August threatened North Korea with "Fire and Fury". The South Korean President then responded by saying in a televised address that "Only the Korean Republic of Korea can make the decision for military action on the Korean peninsula". In recent days Secretary Mattis has once again attempted to assure allies before the tour begins saying "Our goal is not war".
